First of all, a 3-track single? Yes, I'm making this a single instead of an EP, even though it has 3 tracks. It's about 13 minutes long as opposed to the about 15 minute long ATP EP and 16 minute long Com Radish EP. Secondly, the ATP EP and Com Radish aren't under the Invisible Hippo name anymore? Yes, I've revised the definition of what the difference is between @ and Invisible Hippo and decided that since both are multi-genred persona, I should go by how the tracks were created. Most of everything that is under the @ name was produced with my computer, whether I used a program or a website. Everything now under the Invisible Hippo was recorded with a microphone, making this my second release where every track was recorded by microphone. But enough of that.

I recently came up with the brilliant idea of plugging my portable piano into my guitar amp. I don't have a good name for this instrument though. It's simpler than those pedal and mixer set-ups but you have to do more to make music with it. At the beginning of the year, I wanted to listen to some noise (rock) because it was a genre that I thought I might like. And now that the year is almost over, I'm finally a noise musician. I don't have the electronics that Merzbow has, so my kind of noise isn't really HNW. It's more me bashing the keys of a piano but it's so loud that it's distorted and you can't make it out as much. The names were thought of while creating the sample breakdowns for both versions of "Zie Halogenic Mélangerie".

Track 2 features "Für Elise", which I badly try to hide in the background, screaming gibberish into a megaphone with some quiet siren, as inspired by Masonna, and some drums, as inspired by Merzbow.
